What are the foundation programmes for?

If you don't meet the academic entry requirements set by the selected Australian universities (ATAR or OP for Bachelor Degrees - GPA for Master Degrees), you are given a second chance thanks to the Foundation Programmes.

	You can chose from 2 different Foundation Programmes: Foundation Diploma: they allow you to be admitted in the 2nd year of your selected Bachelor degree if successful completion (This applies to most universities except Group of Eight universities) Foundation Year: they allow you to enter in the first year of your selected Bachelor degree if successful completion (This applies mainly for the Group of Eight Universities)
	Courses offered all over Australia
	Fixed Start Dates: 3 times /year (February, May, October)
	You just need to have completed a 12-year schooling High School Certificate to be admitted in a Foundation Programme
	Pre-requisite: minimum IELTS 6.0 academic or equivalent
	Homestay, shared-accommodation, student or university residence

I really recommend to enrol in a Foundation course before tackling a Bachelor degree straight after High School! I started a Diploma at UTS:INSEARCH before joining UTS.
