The 5 Best Reasons Why You Should Choose Us
Our Community Engagement makes us proud!
Access to education for all and everything related to the protection of the planet are dear to us: each year , our team gives a financial contribution to an Australian association that has the objective to support schooling among Young Aboriginals as well as improve our daily actions to minimise any impact on the environment.
Support to Aboriginal communities
Every year, our team esteems that we should give back to the community as our company is growing. We dedicate a fixed amount per year to Australian associations aiming at improving access to education for young Aborigines and consequently have a positive impact on their future career.
Therefore by planning your studies in Australia with us, you will indirectly contribute to support aboriginal communities in Australia to perpetuate their culture.
Our Donations benefited the following Aboriginal organisations:
- Yalari: this is a Non Governmental Organisation that offers scholarships in quality boarding schools around Australia for aboriginal kids and youth from far away, rural or regional communities.
- Bangarra Dance Theatre: this foundation ‘s mission is to train young Aborigines to contemporary dancing integrating the Aboriginal Dreaming culture and organise shows nationally and internationally .
- The Yothu Yindi Foundation: this foundation was created by the "Elders" of the Yolgnu clans (one of them was the lead singer of the famous Yothu Yindi rock band) in order to finance aboriginal schools . These schools are more sensitive to the aboriginal communities’ needs and concentrate on giving confidence to this uprooted youth so that they can complete their schooling and have a career. The most famous festival organised by this foundation is the Garma Festival organised each year in August, gathering aboriginal communities from all over Australia to celebrate their culture.
- The Healing Place: this foundation is composed of "Elders" who are Healers – Doctors and who transmit the secrets of Australian medicinal plants to younger generations.
Sustainable Practices
At Boomerang Australia Studies, we commit to sustainable practices by encouraging our team to minimise the impact of our activities on the environment. We reduce printing documents as much as possible by communicating with our clients and partners via electronic means.
Rather than sending letters and print brochures, we send electronic messages and newsletters as well as notifications by e-mail. All our electronic signatures encourage all recipients to be aware of the environment before printing. Our offices all have their recycling procedures in order to support a sustainable management.
Our involvement with Earth Hour
Every year we encourage our students and partners to support the Earth Hour Movement that was born in Australia in the objective to show the Australian government that Australians care about protecting the environment, by switching off all lights on a Saturday in March each year.
Now millions of people support the movement all over the world, showing governments that they are concerned about the fragility of the planet ecosystem and this is the business of all to take care of it.
